BLM Chicago’s Disturbing Support for Hamas Terrorists Sparks Outrage

Black Lives Matter (BLM) Chicago has publicly expressed support for the Hamas terrorists responsible for a recent terror attack on Israeli concert-goers.

The attack, which resulted in the tragic loss of over 800 lives and an unknown number of kidnappings, has been widely condemned by the international community. However, BLM Chicago chose to stand with the perpetrators, tweeting an image in support of the Hamas terrorists.

The attackers reportedly breached Israeli border security using motorized paragliders, a chilling testament to their determination to commit acts of violent terrorism. The majority of political discourse following the attack has rightly sided with Israel and its 10 million citizens, expressing solidarity and condolences for the victims.

A minority, however, has argued for the interests of Palestinian civilians, a stance that must be carefully distinguished from outright support for terrorist activities.

Among those voicing their opinions was Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of X, formerly known as Twitter. His comment, “your position is clear,” was a pointed critique of BLM Chicago’s endorsement of the terrorists.

The comments under the post were overwhelmingly critical of BLM Chicago’s stance, further highlighting the public’s disapproval.

BLM Chicago also reposted comments suggesting that the Israeli response was tantamount to genocide against Palestinians. This inflammatory rhetoric only serves to further polarize an already tense situation, and does nothing to promote peace or understanding between the two parties.

Notably, no other prominent political group or politician shared this explicit endorsement of Hamas’ terrorism. Even Palestinian Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib released a statement supportive of the victims, while still acknowledging Palestinian suffering.

Joe Biden described the terror attack as “an act of sheer evil,” and former President Trump pointed to the billions Biden gave Iran as likely helping to finance the Hamas attack.

BLM Chicago’s support for Hamas is particularly concerning given the group’s influence and funding.

Founded by Aislinn Pulley, BLM Chicago has received significant financial backing from American corporations such as McDonalds, Allstate, Quaker Oats, Gatorade, Grubhub, IBM, Microsoft, Target, Doordash, Bank of America, Paypal, Uber, Comcast, and Etsy.

It is deeply troubling to see a prominent organization like BLM Chicago openly supporting acts of terrorism. We must remain vigilant in our fight against extremism in all its forms, regardless of where it originates.
