Political commentator Steven Hilton had called out the Democrats for what he regards as hypocrisy on his show last Sunday night on Fox News.

The Democrats had been continuously denouncing President Trump’s claims of voter fraud and claimed that these allegations are baseless. However, in the video, Hilton gave statements and showed clips of prominent Democrats and their supporters.

The video began with playing footage of prominent Democrats and their supporters, starting with the late-night comedy host, Stephen Colbert.

Stephen Colbert recently posted Trump’s voter fraud allegations, and the video went viral. In the said video, Colbert can be quoted, saying, “What I didn’t know is that it would hurt so much. I didn’t expect this to break my heart. For him to cast a dark shadow over our most sacred right.”

Other than Colbert, Hillary Clinton can also be seen in the video, where she talked about how the Trump administration, for four years, plotted and schemed to undermine and overthrow the sacred right of American democracy. She was also heard exclaiming, “What a charlatan!”

Other than this footage of former Secretary of State, Hilton also steered to footage of Congressman Ted Liu and the late former Congressman John Lewis. They were seen describing Trump’s victory and presidency as “illegitimate” for four years with the famous Democratic slogan saying “not my President.”

Afterward, the Fox News host also focused on other videos of Hillary Clinton, where she suggested that Joe Biden should not concede “under any circumstances.” Hillary Clinton then said, “This may be a Democrat norm, but it’s certainly not a democratic one.”

The news anchor then continued saying, “Any evidence of fraud or irregularity should be brought forward, and the courts should adjudicate.”

Multiple irregularities in the 2020 Election

Steven Hilton then pointed out that multiple irregularities had been reported in the 2020 election, which he said could happen every election.

However, suspicious instances happened this year, which is more concerning than what happened in the past, and this includes the “software glitch” in Michigan county of Antrim, where 6,000 votes were counted for Joe Biden. This then leads to the appearance that Biden won the small county with a landslide margin. Meanwhile, after the results were corrected, it appears that Trump carried the county instead with over 2,5000 votes.

Among others, this instance expressed concerns for Republicans, particularly on how these “software glitches” in 47 counties in Michigan could have impacted the election.

In another instance, Project Veritas also expressed their concerns for voter fraud by releasing their video presenting testimony from a US Postal Service worker. The man in the video claimed that there was a scheme followed by people within the USPS to backdate postages and make them appear it was sent before the election so they could be counted.

In addition to this, Project Veritas also released footage from Nevada, which shows a USPS worker admitting to the plan of voter fraud.

Although these allegations have not yet been proven accurate, the increasing reports of irregularities have fueled the Republicans’ calls to investigate these claims. Republicans in Congress were also calling Attorney General William Barr to initiate a formal investigation that will look into these voter fraud allegations.

Hilton then argued, “When it’s this close, this important, with this many late changes to the rules, of course, we should investigate thoroughly, not just for the sake of seeing our chosen candidate win but for the sake of faith in our system,”

He continued saying that if the situation was flipped, Democrats would do the same and would more likely blow things out of proportion.

In the final five minutes of the video, Hilton praised Trump for accomplishing a “tower of achievement” and “defeating a 50-year establishment consensus,” which individuals recognize across the political spectrum.

Hilton then pointed to Trump’s policy achievements on trade, immigration, China, and how he appeals to different demographics. He said, “President Trump has turned the Republican Party into a modern, multiracial working-class coalition.” At the same time, Democrats are the party of “coastal and urban elite,” as shown by their supporters and voters’ trend.
