Southern Border Crisis Raises New Questions

The Southern border crisis remains a very pressing issue in the United States. While the Biden-Harris administration works to downplay matters, the American people can see what is happening. Americans living in border states like Texas, Arizona, etc., especially have a front-row seat to the issues going on.

Thanks to Biden rolling back Trump’s immigration reforms, human traffickers, drug smugglers, and other criminals are having a field day. Meanwhile, mass hordes of migrants are arriving at the Southern border each day.

Quite simply, the United States does not have the resources to care for all of these migrants. As the vice president refuses to visit the border, it appears as though the onus will fall on not just border state leaders, but also their residents, as Newsmax reports.

The Latest on the Border Crisis

At this time, cartels, mass amounts of drugs, and influxes of migrants are coming to the border. Last week, Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced that he will begin pursuing the construction of a wall at the Southern border; this decision comes after months of inaction from the Biden administration.

During a Fox News interview on Saturday, Lara Trump (the daughter-in-law to former President Trump) spoke with Judge Jeanine Pirro about the border crisis. Trump explained that American citizens living on the Southern border may need to “arm up” and be ready to protect themselves with firearms.

The former president’s daughter-in-law then explained that the current situation at the Southern border is horrific for both migrants and American citizens alike. Trump later went on to say that President Biden and Vice President Harris are creating a mockery of Border Patrol agents, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials, and others.

Finally, Trump stated that it is imperative for the vice president to get down to the Southern border and fix what is happening. Trump then warned that if Harris continues her refusal to do this, the border will have grave impacts on the future of the United States.

No Preparation from Harris

Both Judge Pirro and Lara Trump noted that Harris appeared unprepared to answer questions about the Southern border. Pirro and Trump also stated that the vice president seemingly thought the mainstream media would not ask her any direct questions about the border.

To this very day, Harris continues to delay visiting the border. Questions aren’t going away though; if anything, the vice president’s trip to Central America has raised even more questions about what she plans to do in regards to fixing the crisis.
