New Polling Gives Insight Into Voters’ Thoughts on 2024

The 2024 presidential election season will be here sooner than most people think. As it stands today, many Americans are looking forward to the next opportunity to determine who leads the country as president.

Under current leadership, the United States has struggled in multiple areas of life. Everything is more expensive while certain resources and services are harder to come upon.

Right now, much of the country is focused on the 2022 midterms and determining which party is going to dominate the House and Senate going forward.

Now, new polling is out about the 2024 presidential election, as reported by Newsmax. Though the specific details from this poll may be surprising to some.

The Latest Polling on the 2024 Presidential Election

According to data from USA Today/Suffolk University, more than six in ten Americans don’t want Joe Biden or Donald Trump running for reelection in 2024. However, in a scenario where 2024 was a rematch of the past presidential election, Biden leads with 46% to Trump’s 42%.

Right now, it remains to be seen whether or not either one seeks reelection in 2024. Both candidates have hinted at it. Though it’s still a bit early for anyone to formally declare themselves as presidential candidates, due to campaign finance reasons.

Getting into 2023, Americans can expect various Republicans and Democrats to announce whether or not they’ll be running in the upcoming election.

A Chance For New Candidates

The 2024 presidential election could be one of the most interesting White House races this country has ever seen. As it stands today, many candidates are believed to be considering runs for the White House.

The governors of California and Illinois have been listed as potential Democratic candidates. Biden, all things considered, may or may not be running for reelection. It’s a matter that he has repeatedly given mixed answers about over a period of time.

Meanwhile, on the Republican side, the governor of Florida, along with various officials who’ve worked for the federal government, are also viewed as prospects in the next presidential election.

In politics, the conversation about a need for generational change has come up. Many federal-level politicians today are in their 70s and 80s.

This, too, could be a factor in polling that shows most people across the United States don’t want a 2.0 version of the 2020 presidential race.

Americans can look forward to more polling on the next presidential election and its possibilities as 2024 gets closer.
