A healthcare company with ties to James Biden, Joe Biden’s younger brother, is reportedly being investigated by federal authorities.
Americore, a health care company with ties to James Biden, is under criminal investigation by the U.S. attorney’s office for the Western District of Pennsylvania for potential tax crimes.
Although Joe Biden himself has not been implicated in any investigation into any alleged wrongdoing, James Biden is now the second member of the Biden family to be placed under federal investigation.
This chain of investigations is expected to complicate Joe’s presidency and draw scrutiny on how the Justice Department, under his administration chooses to handle the investigation. On top of this, these surfacing issues and federal investigations could also draw more attention to the business dealings of the Biden’s.
The walls are closing in.

Last Wednesday, Politico reported that in addition to the probe into Hunter Biden, James Biden is also being investigated by federal authorities in the Western District of Pennsylvania due to his business dealings with a healthcare company. In relation to this, Federal officials have been asking questions about James Biden and his role in Americore.
Americore, a company that operates a chain of hospitals across Arkansas, Missouri, and Pennsylvania, allegedly gave James Biden a six-figure loan, which in turn worsened the company’s descent into bankruptcy last December 2019.
According to the report, James Biden got close to the company’s executives by guaranteeing them access to Joe Biden, his elder brother, a former Vice President of the United States. In addition to this, James also promised a significant investment coming from a donor in the Middle East to the then failing company. Though, this promised investment never materialized. Biden denied said allegations.
Meanwhile, Tom Pritchard Americore, a former executive familiar with the business, said, “It was all smoke and mirrors.”

James Biden also reportedly held an office for a short time in the headquarters of Americore in Florida. His business card then identifies him as a “principal” of the company, and this data was even entered into Tennessee court records. However, Biden likewise denied that he was ever a principal for Americore.
Other former business associates of Americore also alleged that in 2017 and 2018, James Biden was on a spree of health care investing. He told allegedly told partners that “his last name could open doors, and Joe Biden was interested in the policy implications of their business models.
Then in September 2019, several sources claimed that James Biden transferred money from Americore to himself. He wired the money in the form of personal loans. A former executive of Americore told Politico that James Biden’s loans were at least half a million dollars.
A few months later, the company filed for bankruptcy. Prosecutors stated that CEO Grant White improperly transferred money from the debtors for his personal benefit.
The crux of the reported federal investigation into the healthcare company remains unclear, and James Biden’s exact relationship with Americore is still in dispute.
Earlier this year, two hospitals operated by Americore were raided by FBI agents over allegations of gross financial mismanagements and complaints stating that the company was not running hospitals “in a manner that is consistent with public safety and welfare.”
Should Joe Biden become president, all of the prosecutors investigating Hunter Biden will be fired.

Meanwhile, last Thursday, Senator Tom Cotton, a Republican from Arkansas, asked for a special counsel to be appointed to look into Biden’s business dealings.
Cotton said last Thursday on Fox News, “The Biden campaign released details of a tax fraud investigation in Wilmington. I think that was to show maybe the least damaging part of the investigation.”
He then continued and said that there are allegations of money laundering related to Hunter Biden and his business dealings, securities fraud, and a crooked hospital deal between Americore and James Biden. Cotton said, “These investigations span multiple jurisdictions.” He further stated that all the requirements to call for a special counsel are met in this case since the investigation of Hunter Biden, while Joe Biden is sitting as the president, could cause a conflict of interest.
