On Friday, the largest House conservative meeting published a mash-up video of the times Democrats called to defund the police.
House Republicans did this to push back the latest efforts made by progressives accusing Republicans of being the people who want to cut police funding.
The video compilation showed far-left members asking to cut police funding
The Republican Study Committee released a nearly one-minute video compilation. This comprises the number of times Democrats asked to cut funding for police departments and instead invest the money to black communities or to fighting so-called systematic racism.
Democrats defunded the police.
Crime in those cities skyrocketed.
Now Democrats are trying to blame Republicans.
But everyone knows the truth: Democrats are the party of

The video montage features comments from the infamous squad members like Democrat representatives Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jamaal Bowman, Rashida Tlaib, and Cori Bush.
The footage also showed pictures of headlines and tweets where Democratic politicians called to defund the police and abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
In a tweet by Bush dated January 27, she wrote that defunding the police is “real” and it is “not radical.”
Since the death of George Floyd in Minnesota, Democrat Representative Ilhan Omar has also been outspoken about the need for police reform.
In June of 2020, Omar also defended the defund the police movement; she called this “reimagining” the police system and building an entity that “does not violate” them….while at the same time reallocating the money used to fund police for community services instead.
The video also highlighted comments made by progressive freshman Bowman; he tweeted in March that there’s a lot of police in the U.S. that are more concerned about defending “white supremacy” rather than helping communities that “pay their salaries.”
Meanwhile, Biden and his administration are trying to distance themselves from far-left cries to defund the police. Other Democrats are blaming the Squad members’ defunding the police rhetoric.
The White House gained “three Pinocchios” from the Washington Post fact-checker
Then, the White House and the Democrat Party tried to turn the table by throwing the blame on Republicans. The Biden administration falsely said that conservatives are the ones who want to defund the police.
The statement was traced back to the January 6 attack on the Capitol and Republicans’ opposition to the massive $1.9 trillion COVID relief, which allegedly includes provisions for police funding.

In an attempt to escape the blame, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said last month that the emergency COVID-19 package did not get a single vote from Republicans. She added that the funding was utilized to keep the police force “on the beat.”
However, the fact-checker from the Washington Post gave the White House “three Pinocchios” for claiming that GOP supports “defunding the police.”
Salvador Rizzo from the Post wrote that although GOP lawmakers voted against Biden’s COVID relief package, not a single Republican voted to defund or cut anything.
The Republican Study Committee published the video on Friday. The video also comes together with a web page narrating the long history of Democrats’ support of defunding the police.
