The Democrat Party is presently in the middle of holding its 2020 convention. As such, multiple speakers have shared virtual remarks for the party’s convention and Joe Biden is officially the Democrats’ 2020 nominee.

Many of the speakers at the DNC have made no bones about tearing into President Trump. Common talking points surrounding anti-Trump remarks assert that the president has failed to handle COVID-19 properly, stoked flames of division, etc.

A considerable number of Americans have noted Democrats spending more time slamming the president than discussing why they believe Biden is fit to serve as commander-in-chief.

Presently, new developments from Breitbart News confirm that ratings for this year’s Democratic National Convention have hit new lows.

What to Know About the DNC’s Declining Ratings

On the second night of the Democratic National Convention, the left managed to get 6.13 million individuals to tune in.

This marks a notable 48% decline from the 18.6 million viewers who watched the DNC’s second night back in 2016. It’s also worth noting that ratings for the Democratic National Convention’s first night in 2020 dropped from the convention’s first night in 2016.

Since the inception of Democrats’ 2020 convention, countless Americans have taken to Twitter to slam what a bore the event continues to be.

Certain speakers, such as Michelle Obama, are furthermore facing criticism for prerecording their events way ahead of time; the far-in-advance prerecording is obvious due to outdated numbers, dates, and a lack of mention of Kamala Harris as Biden’s vice-presidential candidate.

Will the Ratings Improve?

Tonight marks the final night of the 2020 Democratic National Convention. At this time, there seems to be no indication that Democrats’ ratings will see any sizable improvements from previous nights.

Some Americans are already stating that the overall lack of enthusiasm for Democrats’ convention is representative of how the nation feels about Joe Biden. Updated election polls also continue to show that the president is rapidly narrowing Biden’s alleged lead.

While the Democrats hold their convention, President Trump is traveling across the nation, receiving endorsements, and getting in front of voters. Republicans, meanwhile, will hold the GOP National Convention next week and officially re-nominate President Trump.
