Democratic Governor Called Out For Gaslighting American Public

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, a Democrat from Michigan, has been criticized for acknowledging that a number of the actions she took during the COVID-19 pandemic in hindsight don’t seem to make sense.

She was likely referring to her ban on the selling of seeds when the country was under quarantine.

Whitmer Gets Caught in a Lie

Whitmer has admitted to Chris Wallace of CNN that a few of the limitations put in place on people of Michigan during the heart of the outbreak were unnecessary.

She said they made choices that don’t make sense, such as allowing people into hardware stores, but not into plant or gardening stores. Whitmer excused this by saying no one was planting at that time of year in Michigan, but even so, it was a silly rule.

Wallace commented, saying that the gaslighting is absolutely shocking.

The rules, which were numerous, were given in late March or early April and not in February, as Whitmer claims. Wallace said they were so vague that several retailers taped off entire aisles to prevent the violation.

He said that she could at least be humble and modest at this point.

Wallace continued by saying that the craziest part of this is that Whitmer is acting so flippantly and genuinely fighting back a large smile while recalling how she unnecessarily caused annoyance and pain for her compatriots in Michigan.

He raged, saying this is so insane on so many levels. In this footage, this woman appears to be a malevolent John Ziegler.

The critic said that Whitmer makes another attempt to deceive the citizens of Michigan into believing she is not to blame for the oppressive, perplexing, and inhumane shutdown measures she implemented.

He said neither of her falsehoods can cover up the fact that her ruthless policies destroyed jobs, companies, and school progress in the state.

Former Michigan Republican Congressman Peter Meijer too criticized the Democratic governor, alleging that Whitmer misled Wallace about the timing of the seed restriction and it actually took place in the spring, rather than in February as she stated.

We know that it is not uncommon for Democrats to lie, so this comes as no surprise.

As she plans her future in politics, Gretchen Whitmer is trying to backtrack, according to Tudor Dixon, Whitmer’s GOP challenger in the 2022 midterms, who spoke to Fox News Digital.

Crazy Laws

Whitmer demanded that all garden facilities and vegetation nurseries in shops with 50,000 square feet or more be forced to close off by roping them off.

She wound up putting blockers in aisles, trying to post influential signage, expelling products from shelves, or employing other suitable methods at the start of what the Old Farmer’s Almanac termed “the earliest spring in 100 years.”
