Two China policy analysts gave a warning to the United States, stating the communist country of China would get “quite aggressive” towards the United States as they do not see President Biden as a formidable opponent.

The author of “The Coming Collapse of China,” Gordon Chang, said on Fox News, “Well, Biden right now — the Chinese are testing him, but they don’t really have to lift a finger to do this, because he’s giving them everything that they want,” the author of “The Coming Collapse of China,” said on Fox News.

“We have seen this, for instance, with joining the Paris accord, rejoining the World Health Organization, his January 26 memorandum on xenophobic attacks, which he blamed President Trump for xenophobia in the United States,” Chang said.

The China Policy analyst continued and said, “The list goes on and on. And we have really got to be concerned because China is looking right now and thinking it’s going to get everything.”

Meanwhile, the founder of the Atlas Organization and author of “China’s Vision of Victory,” Dr. Jonathan Ward, also told Fox News that the actions of China are rooted in their belief that the communist country is going to “surpass the United States.”

Dr. Ward also added, “I think the thing is, they think that they’re going to beat us in this new Cold War, or whatever we want to call it. The contest with China is one that they believe that they will win.”

According to Dr. Ward, China believes that the pandemic has placed them in a more advantageous position. The communist country will turn this ongoing pandemic into an opportunity to strengthen its position in the world economy.

In a sense, China has already done it, Ward said, as they were the only major economy that grew in the past year. “They surpassed the U.S. as the leading destination for FDI. And many of our companies are heavily dependent on the China market,” Ward continued.

The China policy analyst also believes that the Biden administration is currently dealing with economic contests. “China knows that, if they become the world’s dominant economy, the rest will fall into place. So, they feel very confident. And they’re going to be quite aggressive. So, the new administration has to be ready for all of that,” Ward said.

Then the Fox News show, the host asked Dr. Chang about his comments with the editorial page article published in The Global Times that talked about the warning that a state-run news organization gave in China. He also stated that other nations should stay out of their way when it comes to China’s movements dealing with territories they believe it controls, like Taiwan.

“Well, first of all, the Chinese are preparing for war,” Chang answered. He added, “They issued new amendments to its national defense law, effective the beginning of this year, which allows the Chinese military to mobilize without civilian control.”

Chang added that indeed there are a lot of people who think that China is merely bluffing. However, based on past accounts, when countries bluff and threaten war, they usually provoke one. Therefore, all of these actions against Taiwan, these warnings against the U.S., are consequential.

As of the moment, China is already putting pressure on Taiwan. The communist country is also continuously pushing disputed territorial claims, starting from the South China Sea up to the Himalayas. And if China somehow feels that they are directly challenged on any of these fronts, the Chinese President, Xi Jinping, will not step back after the country prepared the public for a combative stance.

“Never underestimate Chinese people’s determination to safeguard national security.” Hu Xijin, the Global Times editor, posted a Tweet a day after China celebrated the commemoration of the return of the remains of Chinese soldiers who died in South Korea.
