Biden Warned By Schumer About Democrats Losing the Senate

For awhile, it looked like Democrats would be able to avoid catastrophic losses in the midterm elections. Though as time passes, it’s becoming more and more apparent that this is not the case.

Across the country, Democrats are losing in various races where they are largely viewed as having the advantage. GOP candidates who were once trailing their opponents are closing these gaps and winning over crucial support from Independents and swing voters.

Democrats failed this country with their policies. Despite the talking points from Joe Biden and others, Americans can very clearly see how his leadership has made things objectively worse.

In one clear sign of what’s coming for Democrats, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer was overheard on a hot mic admitting to Biden his concern that Democrats won’t keep the Senate, per Breitbart News.

What Schumer Let Slip

While Schumer and Biden were both in New York, the former conceded that Democrats were going “downhill.”

Later, the Senate Majority Leader expressed optimism about early voting turnout in Georgia before saying it’s unbelievable that a candidate like Republican Herschel Walker could possibly be elected.

Schumer also told Biden that Democrats are at risk of losing a Pennsylvania Senate seat. In this election, Republican Mehmet Oz is really gaining traction over his Democratic opponent, John Fetterman.

Earlier this week, Oz and Fetterman debated, with the latter visibly struggling to speak and coherently answer questions. Oz, on the other hand, appeared pragmatic and fact-based while debating Fetterman.

If there’s one thing Schumer’s hot mic incident let slip, it’s that behind the scenes, Democrats aren’t nearly as confident about their chances in November as they pretend to be when the cameras are rolling.

The Bottom Line

Republicans have a serious shot of winning these midterms and winning them by a large margin. In many states, early voting has commenced and some Americans already put in their ballots.

How the midterms pan out will decide what the country looks like between now and 2024. Democratic candidates, for all their talk of bipartisanship, will be votes for Biden’s agenda through and through if they win their elections.

Republicans, on the other hand, if elected, will steer America back from the brink of collapse, rather than closer to it. GOP lawmakers, in the majority, will be well-positioned to ensure that Biden doesn’t force even more disastrous policies into law.

Judging from the looks of things, next month is going to see a major red wave, not just in House and Senate elections, but also various gubernatorial races happening in multiple states.
