Biden Lies About Inflation Once Again, This Time Claiming It To Be At 0%!

Earlier this week, President Biden had several comments to share on the current economic state in the US, one of which included the categorically false statement that we are currently at “zero inflation.”

While it’s nothing strange for Biden to be completely unaware of inflation, his comments came only hours after the federal CPI data showed that inflation dropped to 8.5%, which is still a four-decade high.

Someone get the pills, grandpa Joe’s off his rocker again

It’s likely someone just gave Biden the wrong data.

Given his previous stances on the issue, the possibility he just said the number zero because he wanted to is a valid option, especially considering the fact he’s very prone to giving out downright false information.

It’d have been fine had he stopped there; a couple of eye-rolls and everyone would’ve moved on, but this is President Biden we’re talking about.

He just had to press on, claiming while the prices of certain things went up last month, other things went down by the same amount, effectively making it a “zero inflation.”

Unfortunately, as much as we want this to be true, it’s just not how the economy works.

It’s honestly kind of sad the head honcho is having a hard time grasping such a simple concept, even more so considering he’s the one effectively running this country into oblivion.

Oddly enough, right after claiming inflation to be at a zero point, the president urged Congress to pass his Inflation Reduction Act, which he claims would “stop inflation from getting worse.”

Analysts have found it would actually continue increasing inflation for the next three years at the very least.

Twitter destroys Biden over inflation claims

The real figure of inflation is 8.5%, largely due to a demand-driven drop in fuel prices, which spiked tremendously in mid-June only to come back down to $4 in July.

However, despite the drop in gas prices, the cost of living has jumped up, with everything from groceries to clothing going up in price; even if it was somehow equivalent to the decline in gas prices, it still wouldn’t indicate 0% inflation.

Immediately after Biden’s comments, Twitter tore directly into him, with Senator Ted Cruz calling his statement “a bunch of ridiculous BS”, noting inflation certainly isn’t at a zero point and claiming otherwise is just cruel gaslighting from the White House.

Others also chimed in, with Representative Virginia Fox joking the Biden administration’s relationship with math isn’t exactly functional, to say the least.

Fact is, food has gone up 10.9%, compared to last year, the highest it’s been in the past 40+ years. No matter how the White House may try to spin the story, working Americans know exactly what they’re dealing with.
