Biden Chasing Vaccine Mandates Even After New CDC Guidelines

The Biden administration is still pursuing a mandatory vaccination court case even though America already moved into the post-pandemic world.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has announced to end discrimination based on the vaccination status of Americans.

Experts believe the administration is only pursuing a useless case that will have no implications even if the federal government wins the litigation.

Biden Administration Still Wants to Impose Vaccine Mandates

On September 13, the Fifth Circuit Court will hear a case named Feds for Medical Freedom v. Biden, in which the federal government is seeking to impose a vaccine mandate on civilian employees of the federal government.

Last year, a trial court stopped the Biden administration from imposing a vaccine mandate on federal government employees; so the administration challenged the decision in the higher court.

Afterward, a Fifth Circuit panel overruled the trial court’s decision, which led Feds for Medical Freedom to ask the whole court of 17 judges to listen to the case.

Now, the Biden administration will try to win the compulsive vaccination case in front of the 17-judges court, despite the CDC’s new relaxed guidelines for unvaccinated people.

According to the new guidelines, all COVID prevention techniques are equally effective for both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. This means the agency no longer provides separate guidelines to people based on their vaccination status.

Even if unvaccinated people are exposed to COVID, they should not observe quarantine, as they have already developed immunity against the virus, the new guidelines mentioned.

Useless Court Cases Will Waste Important Resources

These new CDC guidelines suggest even if the Biden administration wins the court case of mandatory vaccination, it will only end up pouring in taxpayers’ money to impose the vaccine mandate by ignoring the CDC policy.

One official of the Manhattan Institute, Ilya Shaprio, questioned why the administration is even pursuing a case that will have no impact on the overall health standards in the country.

Even if the administration wins the case, it will only consume more governmental resources for the implementation of the mandate. The CDC already stopped discriminating against people based on their vaccination status, Shaprio added.

Marcus Thornton, the President of Feds for Medical Freedom, also slammed the Biden administration for pursuing a useless case.

Thornton stated the CDC’s announcement of not discriminating against people based on their vaccination status reveals science is against forced vaccination; so all mandates must be discouraged in the United States.

After the CDC guidelines, the federal government should apologize to Americans for undue harassment and abuse from which people have suffered under the vaccine mandates, Thornton added.

Fox News reached the Department of Justice to comment on the current need to pursue the vaccine mandate case, but the department declined to comment.
