After the Electoral College gave him enough votes to win the presidency, Joe Biden attacked Trump and top Republicans in a speech last Monday.

The 78-year-old Democrat used the margin of his victory in the Electoral College votes to mock and attack Trump, citing what President Trump said in 2016, that he had won in a “landslide,” after garnering the same number of electoral votes.

Biden said, “More than 81 million of those votes were casts for me and Vice President-elect Harris. That, too, is a record. More than any ticket has received in the history of America.” He added that this number of votes represents a winning margin of over 7 million votes. The President-elect continued by saying that he and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris earned 306 electoral votes, exceeding the 270 votes needed.

Afterwhich, Joe Biden cited President Trump’s win in the 2016 election and said, “Three hundred six electoral votes is the same number of electoral votes than Donald Trump, and Vice President Pence received when they won in 2016. At the time, President Trump calls the Electoral College tally a ‘landslide.'” He added, “By his own standards, these numbers represented a clear victory then, and I respectfully suggest they do so now.”

In making the statement, Biden referred to the numerous cases brought forward by the Trump campaign. The President-elect said, “in every case, no cause or evidence was found to reverse or question or dispute the results.”

Biden then made a bold claim that Trump is making an “unprecedented assault” on the democracy of the American people by making “baseless claims” about the legitimacy of the election results. The Democrat candidate also mocked how Republicans signed onto the lawsuit filed by the state of Texas by saying, “Even more stunning, 17 Republican Attorneys General, and 126 Republican members of the Congress, actually, they actually signed onto a lawsuit filed by the state of Texas,”

Biden proceeded by making a baseless claim and stated that this legal maneuver by the Republicans was an attempt by elected officials and one group of states to get have the Supreme Court “wipe out” the votes of over 20 million Americans. And give the presidency to President Trump, whom he said, “lost the popular vote, and lost each and every one of the states whose votes they were trying to reverse.”

After blowing attacks at Trump and Republicans, Joe Biden chose to ignore the federal criminal investigation of his son, Hunter Biden. He completely disregarded a question from a reporter asking about the issue and merely said, “Thanks for the congratulations, appreciate it.”

In the previous weeks, Joe Biden was asked whether or not he spoke with Hunter and if his son did perpetrate the crime. Biden only said, “I’m proud of my son.”

Hunter Biden’s attorney not cooperating

Meanwhile, last Sunday, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) told Fox News that Hunter Biden’s attorneys were not cooperating with the investigation into Hunter’s business dealings. Johnson, who has been investigating the case for more than a year, was asked by the Fox News host, “Have you gotten any response, and where are we on that investigation, sir?”

The Republican senator replied by saying, “We’ve only got a response from Hunter and Devon’s attorney not to cooperate; nobody else has even responded to us.” Johnson then compared Hunter Biden with President Trump’s children and his associates by saying that they voluntarily submit to hundreds of hours of transcribed interviews that required thousands of documents. He stated that Trump’s children did not require a subpoena to comply. He then made a remark, “so I don’t know why Hunter Biden and Devon Archer and their associates Rob Walker, James Gilliar, why are they basically hiding in the weeds?”
